The program will be tailored specifically for improved performance in your sport. You will follow different phases with focus on strength, power, and conditioning to achive optimal performance.

CONDITIONING

Conditioning is a measure of how well an athlete is able to meet the energy production demands of their sport. Conditioning helps you maintain the intensity over the course of a game, fight, or race.

INJURY PREVENTION

The program will be tailored specifically to prevent injuries for your sport. Every sport has a risk of muscle imbalance, over-use, stiffness, and specific injuries. We will help your team prevent theses injuries and enable better performance.

STRENGTH WORK

The stronger you are, the less risk of injury you have. the more you can withstand forces, the more robust you can be as an athlete. Often we are not ‘tight’ we are simply weak.

PREVENT OVER-USE

In many sports, we can create imbalances in the body due to repeated movements. Our gym prehab work should offset this risk and prevent over-use injuries.

MOBILITY WORK

Mobility restrictions in athletes can often lead to poor movement patterns, which can decrease the efficiency of movement, waste energy, and may increase the risk of injury for an athlete.

The core must be stable enough to withstand the forces put through it during movement, and allows us to perform athletic movements efficiently and safely.

PERIODISATION

Program

Your training program can be adjusted for different periods of your season such as pre-season or competition period. The program targets will be specific to the needs of your team.

Phase

Your program will be divided into different phases, often 1 month long, with different focuses such as strength, power, or speed.

Training week

The different phases will usually consist of 4 training weeks. The idea is that you progress the exercises each week, by for example adding weight.

Training day

You will have the flexibility to decide on which days you prefer to train and which workout you prefer on the day.

Session

The training session will have a clear structure. You will be able to swap exercises if you can't perform them due to injury or lack of equipment.
